Author Guidelines

General Requirements:

  1. The editorial board of KEK accepts scientific article in economics and public finance.
  2. The article should free from plagiarism. The article is being written accordingly to the guideline as well as never or under publication on other media, printed or electronic.
  3. The editorial board has full authority in the selection of the submitted article. Article selection will be carried out in writing and objectively.
  4. The article which published in KEK does not automatically reflect the Ministry of Finance view or opinion.
  5. The article is written in Indonesian or English with font type Californian FB 10 and space multiple 1,15. The paper size is A4 with one column format. The length of the article around 10-25 pages, including figure, graphic, or table.
  6. The article which is published in KEK should be accompanied by the Letter of Copyright Release.
  7. All submitted articles should follow the article template which is at the end of this guidance.

The Structure of Scientific Articles

The structure of scientific articles consists of 10 parts, namely: (1) title; (2) ownership lines (authors); (3) abstract; (4) keywords; (5) introduction; (6) literature review; (7) methodology; (8) results of analysis and discussion; (9) conclusions and recommendations; (10) references. Each part is written with use capital letters (bold) with the following explanation:

  1. Title
    1. The title is written in a concise and informative manner that contains key words from the topic discussed with long words no more than 12.
    2. Type of letter used calibri light 20 and within 1 space.
    3. Ownership lines (authors)
      1. This line consists of two parts, the name of the author and the author's agency along with the address and email address.
    4. Abstract
      1. Abstracts are written in Indonesian and English which contain a summary of the research problems, objectives, research methods, results of analysis and policy recommendations.
      2. Abstracts are written in one paragraph with no more than 200 words and typed within 1 space.
      3. Type of letter used calibri light 9 and within 1 space.
    5. Keywords
      1. Keywords are written in Indonesian and English as many as 3 - 6 words.
      2. Each keyword is separated by commas (,).
    6. Introduction
      1. The contents of the introduction should contain background, problems, and research objectives.
      2. In the Introduction section there is no need to use the subtitle.
    7. Literature review
      1. The literature review contains the literature used to support all those involved in writing scientific articles.
      2. Avoid the inclusion of literature that is not or less relevant with the topic of scientific articles.
    8. Methodology
      1. The methodology section contains the material and methods used in the research including the analysis tools used, sampling techniques, variables measured, sources, periodization and data collection techniques, as well as analysis and statistical models used.
      2. For qualitative research, the research methods used can be adjusted.
    9. Results of analysis and discussion
      1. This section describes and discusses the results of the study. The explanation in this section can be performed using tables, graphs, or pictures that can support or clarify the results or analysis.
      2. Tables, graphics, or picture titles are arranged in the form of a phrase (not a sentence).
      3. Table titles, pictures and graphs are placed above the table, pictures, and graphs without ending a full stop.
      4. The discussion focuses on whether the results of the study are in accordance with the hypothesis or not with the arguments.
    10. Conclusions and recommendations
      1. Conclusions are the answers of the research objectives that have been included in the Introduction.
      2. Conclusions and recommendations do not use sentence or statistical language.
      3. Conclusions and recommendations are not in the form of pointer or numerical, but in the form of an essay paragraph.
    11. References
      1. The literature included in the references is only literature that has become a reference in the body of articles.
      2. The references should use the latest literature.
      3. The references follows the standards of the American Psychological Association (APA).
      4. The references must using reference help software such as: Mendeley, EndNote and others.
