Readiness Program

This Readiness Program includes interlinked activities aimed at the main five key readiness outcomes:
Country capacity improvements - improving the coordination mechanisms and NOL procedure of the NDA GCF, developing a monitoring and oversight system, and conducting other capacity strengthening activities.
Stakeholder engagement - mainstreaming multi-stakeholder approach with strong gender and social inclusion equality focuses into the NDA GCF's workflow.
Direct access realization - identifying and supporting selected entities through the GCF accreditation process.
Access to finance - identifying and developing potential bankable projects, matchmaking between the private sector, financial institutions, (D)AEs, and project developers.
Private sector mobilization - identifying investment barriers, develop solutions, and facilitate lender-borrower matchmaking for climate investments.
