Climate Investor Two (CI2) Climate Investor Two (CI2) is a fund that aims to support the private sector to develop climate-resilient infrastructure projects in the water, sanitation, and ocean sectors. The targeted investments under the fund will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the resilience of vulnerable communities. This is GCF’s first at-scale private sector programme in the water sector.
The program is targeting 19 countries with 11.2 million beneficiaries and 44.7 million of CO2eq greenhouse gas emissions reduction, across 20 years of implementation.
