Guidelines for Mainstreaming Gender and Social Inclusion in Climate Change Projects for Green Climate Fund (GCF) Project Proponents of the Green Climate Fund contains information on basic principles of gender and social inclusion (GESI), linkages between GESI principles and climate change, as well as climate change and GESI legal frameworks. This guide is intended for climate project proponents who need guidance on the steps for integrating GESI principles into their project concepts. Climate projects related stakeholders can also use this guide to gain an understanding of the GESI concept and the importance of mainstreaming the GESI concept in the preparation of climate projects.
